What is async video?
Also called: asynchronous video, video message
Definition
Async video is a recorded message, usually screen plus camera, sent in place of a live meeting so people can watch when it suits them.
Teams use it for updates, reviews, handovers and answers to questions. Cloud recorders are built round it: record, get a link, send. A file-based recorder fits when the video should stay on your own storage or needs to look finished.
