What is auto zoom?

Also called: automatic zoom, click to zoom, smart zoom

Definition

Auto zoom is a recorder feature that zooms in on the screen automatically, usually wherever the mouse is clicked.

It saves time: a recording comes out with zooms already in place. The trade-off is control. Clicks are not always what matters, so automatic zooms can land on unimportant clicks and miss a result that appears without one. Most tools let you delete or adjust them afterwards.

The alternative is placing zooms by hand, which takes a little longer and puts every zoom where the story needs it.

In Sceed

Sceed does not zoom automatically on clicks. You place zoom blocks, and inside a block the camera can follow the cursor by itself.
