What is cursor smoothing?
Also called: smooth cursor, mouse smoothing
Definition
Cursor smoothing replaces the jittery path of a recorded mouse pointer with a clean, gliding one.
It only works when the recorder captures the screen without the pointer and logs the pointer’s position separately. The editor then draws its own cursor along a filtered version of that path, removing small shakes and corrections while still reaching every click on time.
A cursor that was filmed as part of the picture cannot be smoothed, because it is just pixels in the video.
In Sceed
Sceed records without the pointer and draws it afterwards. Smoothing is on by default, with one slider.
