What is a click effect?

Also called: click animation, click ripple, mouse click highlight

Definition

A click effect is a short animation, such as a ripple or a pulse, drawn where the mouse was clicked so viewers can see that a click happened.

In a video there is no way to feel a click. Without a visual cue, viewers can miss the moment something was pressed. A ripple, a burst or a brief bump of the cursor marks it. A soft click sound does the same for the ear.

In Sceed

Sceed logs every click while recording. Click sounds are free; ripple, burst and bump effects are part of Pro.
