What is a keystroke overlay?
Also called: key display, keyboard visualizer, show keys
Definition
A keystroke overlay shows the keys and shortcuts being pressed as graphics on the video.
It lets viewers follow keyboard-driven steps that would otherwise be invisible. It is most useful in tutorials for editors, design tools and terminals, and in bug reports.
In Sceed
Sceed logs keys while recording and the editor draws them in a pill on the frame. The overlay can be switched off afterwards.
