What is a text overlay?
Also called: on-screen text, title, kinetic text
Definition
A text overlay is text placed on top of a video, often animated in by word or by letter.
Overlays carry the point for viewers watching without sound, label steps, and add emphasis. Keep them to a few words and leave them on screen long enough to read twice.
In Sceed
Sceed has animated text overlays in many looks, as blocks on the timeline.
