What is a lower third?
Also called: name super, name plate
Definition
A lower third is a graphic in the lower part of the frame that shows a name, a title or a topic.
The term comes from television, where a speaker’s name and role appear in the bottom third of the picture. In screen recordings it introduces the presenter or names the feature being shown.
In Sceed
Sceed has a lower third with an accent bar and a name plate, placed by dragging.
