What is an annotation?

Also called: markup, drawing on video

Definition

An annotation is any mark added on top of a video to explain it: arrows, boxes, circles, underlines, text and badges.

Annotations point, group and emphasise. Used sparingly, one at a time, they guide the eye. Used everywhere, they become clutter.

In Sceed

Sceed has arrows, underlines, circles, boxes, ticks and badges that draw themselves on, as region effects.
