What is region capture?
Also called: area recording, partial screen recording
Definition
Region capture records a rectangle of the screen that you drag out, rather than a whole monitor or a window.
It is useful on very wide monitors, or when only part of an app matters. In most recorders the video contains only the pixels inside the rectangle, so a small region makes a low-resolution video.
In Sceed
Sceed captures the whole monitor during an area recording and crops in the editor, so the full resolution is still there for zooms.
