What is a privacy blur?
Also called: redaction, blur sensitive information, pixelate
Definition
A privacy blur hides part of a video, such as an email address or an API key, by blurring that region so it cannot be read.
The blur is applied in the editor and baked into the exported file, so viewers cannot undo it. The original recording still contains the unblurred picture and should be kept private.
Use a strong blur and a box larger than the text. A light blur over large letters can still be legible.
In Sceed
In Sceed, Privacy blur is a box dragged on the preview and a block on the timeline. It is in the free plan.
