What is screen recording?
Also called: screen capture video, screen record
A screen recording is a video of what a computer screen shows over time, usually with sound from a microphone, the computer, or both.
A screen recorder captures the pixels of a monitor, a single window or a chosen area many times a second and encodes them as a video file. Most can also record a microphone, the computer’s own sound and a webcam.
Screen recordings are used for tutorials, product demos, bug reports, training, presentations and messages to colleagues. A raw recording shows exactly what happened; an edited one adds zooms, cuts and graphics so it is easier to follow.
In Sceed
Sceed records a window, an area or a whole monitor on Windows 10 and 11, then opens the take in its own editor.
