Backgrounds and frames for screen recordings

Framed from the first frame

There is no "apply a template" step. The take opens in a frame on a background, and each choice is one click in the Background, Canvas and Frame tabs. Save the result as a look and make it the default for new recordings.

Backgrounds

• Gradients in every mood, dithered so they do not band after compression.

• A gradient builder: a shape, three colours, an angle and a spread.

• Solid colours with a system palette and your recent colours.

• The recording itself, zoomed, blurred and dimmed behind its own card.

• Your own picture or looping clip (Pro).

Frames

• Windows: Mac, browser, browser with tabs, Windows, terminal and code editor title bars, with a title you can edit.

• Devices: a laptop, a tablet, a phone, a desktop display, a TV.

• Edges and props: outlines, gradients, glass, glows, stacked cards, tape, a pin, a paper mat, a photo frame.

Any shape

Switch the canvas between wide, square and vertical. The same take re-lays itself out, so one recording can become a website video, a feed post and a vertical short.
