Effects for screen recordings

Drag an effect onto the preview. It times itself. Every effect is a block on the timeline and a box on the frame. Nothing to keyframe.

In short

Effects in Sceed are boxes you drag on the preview and blocks on the timeline. They point at things (callouts, arrows, marks), hide things (privacy blur, reveal), lift things (pop-out, inset, loupe), dim everything else (focus, spotlight), or change the whole frame (vignette, grain, colour grades). Each eases in and out by itself.

Drag it on, and it is timed

Add an effect at the playhead, drag its box over the part of the screen it applies to, and stretch its block to set how long it shows. There are no keyframes. Effects are grouped and searchable in the Effects tab.

What they do

  • Point. Callouts, tooltips, arrows, underlines, circles, boxes, ticks and badges that draw themselves on.

  • Hide. Privacy blur for anything that should not be seen; reveal to uncover something on cue.

  • Lift. Pop-out brings a region forward; inset and loupe show it enlarged.

  • Focus. Blur or dim everything except the region.

  • Move. The region itself pops, flips, wiggles or spins.

  • Dress the frame. Vignette, letterbox, grain, colour grades, light leaks, bloom.

  • Celebrate. Confetti, stickers, GIFs, particles, a stamp.

Free and Pro

Pop-out and Privacy blur are in the free plan. Every other effect is part of Sceed Pro.
